Updates and changes

The Ships on Stamps Unit discussion list has been discontinued.

The Ships on Stamps Unit has sponsored a discussion list since at least 2001 using various platforms. The latest version of this discussion list was hosted by the Yahoo! Groups. In Fall of 2019, Yahoo decided to make changes to the Groups and so I decided to delete the Ships on Stamps Discussion list as of the end of October 2019. After 18 years, I decided that now was a good time for a change.

A very good substitute for the Yahoo List is the https://shipstamps.co.uk/forum/ or

http://www.philateliemarine.fr (French and English)

http://www.seemotive.de (German) This is the original German language page from which our New Ships Stamps page is derived.

You will find a great deal of online information on these pages. However, do not forget the Ships on Stamps Unit publication, “WATERCRAFT PHILATELY” continues to be published and circulated to members of the Unit. For more information on Watercraft Philately, contact Erik Matzinger or Dan Rodlie.
